Third Sunday Outing - November 2009



Heavy winds and the light drizzle didn't deter around 30 birders to meet up in the morning of 15th November for a trail around the Anekal Lake which is around 48 kms from the city center.Four groups scattered around in different parts of the lake. Apart from the usual birds, it was interesting to see few migrants too.

This trail is also dedicated to Dr.Salim Ali, whose birthday was on 12th November.

  1. Was it he last one we saw...tht means it wasnt Green Shank right? Do let me know so that I can make the changes in the list...also would like to know the id of the swallows..
